 In the present manuscript, focus is laid to determine the impact and contribution of Buddhism towards music. Focus is laid upon the influences and involvements of Chinese, Japanese and Korean Buddhist cultures on the music which have eventually modulated and grown to its present subtle and soothing form. The noble principles of truth and non-violence propagated by Lord Buddha seem to be inculcated in the contemporary Buddhist music. Buddhist music portrays an assembly of intellectual advances which will enable our restless society to attain relaxation.
