Nature has considered as the cradle of Western civilization and spirit of the source during the long history of Western culture. The emotion of William Wordsworth towards nature is an awe of spiritual sustenance. In contrary to modern people, along with the development of economics and technologies, the severe competitions and rapid speeds of living style has widely taken the place of tranquil rural life style. Modern people mainly focus on the material world more than their spiritual nature. This paper attempts highlighting the style of poems written by William Wordsworth, as well as the study aims to analyze perceptions about “nature” under different circumstances between the Romantic great poet William Wordsworth and people living in 2013.
