Growth Of Telecommunication Sector And Foreign Direct Investment

Communication is a linked part of human life and used to communicate each other through telephone, telegraph, television and radio to fulfill their needs. India is the second largest population in the world and using more mobile phones after China. So it attracts more foreign countries to invest in Indian telecommunication sectors. Due to the liberalization and government policies also encourage foreign investors to invest in this sector particularly in 2005 budget, the government has increased its FDI limit to 74 percentages. Keep in this view the present study analyze the trend of FDI and growth of telecommunication sector in Indian telecommunication sector.
