Channel Estimation And Enhanced Performance Method For MIMO OFDM

Wireless technologies have evolved remarkably Marconi first demonstrated radio's ability to provide continuous contact with ships sailing in the English Channel in 1897. New theories and applications of wireless technologies have been developed by hundreds and thousands of scientists and engineers through the world ever since. Recently MIMO-OFDM systems have gained considerable attentions from the leading industry companies and the active academic community. Collection of problems including channel measurements and modelling, channel estimation, in-phase or quadrature imbalance evaluated and finds a method in order to increase SNR. Channel estimation plays a significant role for MIMO-OFDM systems. The proposed method needs two repeated sequences, a low complexity two-step approach is proposed to solve the joint estimation problem. Simulation results show that the Mean-Squared Error (MSE) ofthe proposed method is very nearer to the Cramer-Rao Bound (CRB).
