The ability of conjugated polymers to conduct electricity has been a major interest among researchers for organic solar cells fabrication as an active layer. However not many researches fabricate single layer solar cells from undoped polymers due to low efficiency. The objective of this study was to determine device parameters of conjugated polymer based single layer organic solar cells. Polythiophene, Polypyrrole and Poly (3-thiophene acetic acid) thin films were deposited on ITO glass substrate by using electrochemistry method. Two point probe method was used to characterize the device through I-V curve in dark condition and under four illuminations. Light intensity did affect the power conversion efficiency of cells. The efficiency generally increased with the increasing light intensity for P3TAA based solar cell. The highest PCE for P3TAA, PPY and PT devices were 0.01%, 0.0383% and 0.016% at intensity 10 W/m2, 60 W/m2 and 30 W/m2 respectively. Other device parameters’ behaviors are discussed in this study.
