overrun that are associated with dissatisfactory quality and safety standards.
Based on the review and evaluation of the relevant literatures, a reengineering
model which constitutes lean and value chain issues had been developed to
improve an overall construction project. A developed model consists of three
elements, namely: sub-process describe, sub-process analyze and sub-process
redesign. These elements help to: understand
project’s scope issues, use the factors such as describe, outline inputs,
outline methods, outline outputs etc. to identify process’s performance
weaknesses; and consequently, establish IT technology as an enabler of improving
sub-processes’ performance. Practitioners in developing countries may adopt the
model to improve a sub-processes and an overall construction project.
